With a positive start to life at Southampton following his £15million arrival from Birmingham City over the summer, Che Adams impressed plenty of fans with his efforts during our pre-season campaign, but the 23-year-old is obviously still waiting for his maiden Premier League goal.
Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has more than kept faith with him though and most fans knew there would be an adjustment period as he makes the step up to the top flight, but this weekend sees him return to Bramall Lane and given how often football can appear ‘fated’, opening his club account on Saturday as we face Sheffield United has left plenty of fans hoping that it’s already written in the stars.

With Southampton encouraging fans to keep him in their ‘Fantasy Football Teams’ for this weekend’s action, plenty of fans were willing to back him to find his shooting boots sooner rather than later.

Plenty will be hoping that proves to be the case, but five games in (as it will be by Saturday evening) as long as he continues to show improvements in his play and causes more problems for their defence, he’ll be on the right track.
